Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing robust
network solutions that meet the needs of our enterprise
environment. You will work with a variety of technologies,
including AWS cloud networking, Cisco equipment, Palo Alto
firewalls, load balancers, and SD-WAN solutions. Your role will
involve strategic planning, network design, and hands-on
troubleshooting to ensure a secure, efficient, and scalable network
infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:
- Network Design and Architecture: Develop and implement network
architectures that support the organization's objectives, including
cloud networking in AWS, Cisco-based solutions, and SD-WAN
integration.
- Implementation: Oversee the deployment and configuration of
network solutions, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load
balancers. Ensure successful integration with existing systems and
applications.
- Cloud Networking: Design and manage cloud network
configurations in AWS, including VPCs, subnets, and security
groups, to support scalable and secure cloud operations.
- Security Management: Implement and manage network security
solutions using Palo Alto firewalls and other security technologies
to protect against threats and ensure compliance with security
policies.
- Load Balancing: Configure and manage load balancing solutions
to optimize application performance and ensure high
availability.
- SD-WAN Management: Design and implement SD-WAN solutions to
enhance network connectivity, optimize performance, and improve
resilience.
- Troubleshooting and Optimization: Provide advanced
troubleshooting and support for network issues. Analyze network
performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and
reliability.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive network
documentation, including design diagrams, configuration guides, and
troubleshooting procedures.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, vendors, and other
stakeholders to ensure network solutions meet business needs and
technical requirements.
- Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure network designs and
implementations adhere to industry best practices, security
standards, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience in network design,
implementation, and troubleshooting in enterprise
environments.
- Tech Stack Expertise: Proficiency with AWS cloud networking,
Cisco networking equipment, Palo Alto firewalls, load balancers,
and SD-WAN solutions.
- Network Design: Strong background in designing scalable and
secure network architectures, with a focus on both on-premises and
cloud environments.
- Troubleshooting Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills with a
track record of diagnosing and resolving complex network
issues.
- Security Knowledge: In-depth understanding of network security
principles and practices, with hands-on experience in deploying and
managing firewall solutions.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills,
with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to
non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Cisco
CCNP/CCIE, Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer
(PCNSE), or AWS Certified Advanced Networking are highly
preferred.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information
Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field. Advanced
degrees or certifications are a plus.
