Dates of Coverage needed
9-12 months beginning ASAP
Shifts
Days/hours clinic: 8-5pm, OR 7:30-3:30pm
Description of the need:
Candidate would be able to do both surgeries as well as clinic.
24hr Call Coverage may be available but the day clinical shift is the focus with current bids.
Type of patients: Inpatient rounding, clinic call patients, ED/ACC consults
Type of call: In house and beeper though they do not have to reside on hospital premises 100% of the time
Performs office procedures and more minor surgery.
Would let internal urologists do the bigger, more advanced cases.
Skills Needed:
Endoscopic techniques yes, but not advanced
PCNL preferred
Ureteroscopy yes
TURP yes
TURBT yes
Hydrocelectomy yes
Spermatocelectomy yes
Circumcision yes
Vasectomy yes
Cystoscopy yes
Prostate biopsies yes
Fertility workup yes
Incontinence operations preferred
IPP preferred
ESWL yes
